We look forward to you sharing your gift with us! Here are some tools and techniques to help you in the audition process, as we understand you may not have gone through an audition before:

• Bring your entire rig (guitar + pedalboard/amp or digital rig) and whatever you need to give your best performance.
• Take your time getting the sound you need in the monitor. (NOTE: We have a big stage and it is important that you hear what the other instruments are doing.)
• Three T's — Tuning, Timing, and Taste. (NOTE: We are looking for mostly sweet and simple — think context, and playing to make the team sound great.)
• Please keep in mind, auditioners will also be paying attention to tone, phrasing, and style — do your best to match what you hear on the track, unless an auditioner requests something different in person.
• Bring your very best to this audition! Not only musically, but in presence and energy as well. We want to see who you are and what you bring to the experience.
• Nerves are normal, but try not to stress — our auditioners want to make you comfortable, while giving you the best feedback to help your growth.
